Privacy

The RNICG website is to help clients, potential clients and potential recruits gain more knowledge of who we are and what we can do for you. This privacy policy is intended to inform you about how we collect and use information through the site and in other communications. For an explanation of terms of use for using this site, please read our terms and conditions.

What information do we collect from the website?

We do not currently collect any personal information from people who visit our website. We do however keep log files which contain site usage information through the use of cookies. We may use this information to make changes to our site based on site traffic and other statistics. Log files do not contain any personal information.

RNICG also logs IP addresses, or the location of computers on the Internet, to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the site.

What is a cookie?

When you enter a site your computer will automatically be issued with a cookie. Cookies are text files that identify your computer to our server. Cookies in themselves do not identify the individual user, just the computer used. Many sites do this whenever a user visits their site in order to track traffic flows.

Cookies themselves only record those areas of the site that have been visited by the computer in question, and for how long. Users have the opportunity to set their computers to accept all cookies, to notify them when a cookie is issued, or not to receive cookies at any time. This can be done via the settings in your browser.

Email marketing

If you contact us directly or we collect your information through other promotional activities, we may contact you – but only with your permission. And you can opt-out of this at any time.

If you have received a mailing from us your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us. We respect your time and attention by controlling the frequency of our mailings.

What do we do with the information we collect?

RNICG complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. We have created this privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.

How we protect your privacy

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. In certain circumstances, where our clients' data is held in our possession, for utilisation in research or consultancy services, we follow the strict guidelines of the Data Protection Act and therefore, at no time, are our clients in breach of these laws.

Links to third-party sites

The RNICG website may also contain links to third-party client and partner sites. We do not control and are not responsible for the collection of any information by any of these third parties, whose privacy policy may differ from ours.

Consent

By using the Site, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your information as described in this privacy policy and elsewhere on the site. We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy policy from time to time. We will alert you to any such changes by updating this privacy policy.
